2022 - wings & bugs


wings were done with silver paint and a white brush pen. originally I had a heart in the center, which I removed to theoretically replace with something cooler, but never did
very much an "early in transition" piece of art I think but I'm still fond of it
the featured quote is from Julian K. Jarboe, though it gets passed around online a lot


2023 - ananke and the fates


mannnnnnn. for a while I've considered that the world set on a spindle from this is the first tattoo I want to get
the quotes are top to bottom from: the game Pathologic, the poem feb 2 by elle emerson, a portion of the same quote on the 2022 planner, and the poem Rural Boys Watch The Apocalypse (rough draft) by Keaton St. James


2024 - pressed flowers


"make me edible but make me poisonous" is a quote from The Android That Designed Itself by Julian K. Jarboe
plants include but are not limited to: bleeding hearts, african violets, nasturtium flowers and leaves, thyme, and squill
these pictures were taken ~6 months after the initial sealing of the flowers, and you can already see some fading and discoloring. if I were to do this again I would have used acid-free paper, though I don't know if that would have prevented all of it


2025 - green n yellow origami


the tiled origami design is the same as what I used for this card
the colors are pretty washed out, you have to trust me the neon greens and yellows look brighter in person

> EMBROIDERED PATCHES

• these take forever to do by hand, but I always love how they turn out
• from left to right: the blood of lathander from bg3 (january 2024), objection! graphic from ace attorney (march 2021), little keith haring dog (october 2024) and this keith haring pattern (june 2025), a little grey moth (february 2021), and laser loon (december 2024)

> SHRINKY DINKS

• made august 2025, with the same friend as the clay kitties (the mountain dew cans are his)
• two-sided rainbow trout, sockeye salmon and a little kitty kiss based on a drawing by b0nkcreat
• the kitties were turned into a little fridge magnet, and the trout was sewn onto my bag
• tinfoil pic was before baking (and shrinking)

• I do sometimes make things that aren't cranes!

> CLAY KITTIES

• made april 2025, with a friend (the orange kitties were made by me, and the black and white ones by him)
• created with polymer clay, based on some real cats!

• made february 2025, for a friends birthday :)
• the smallest green one was a prototype for the other two, and is based on my wobbledog lime wedge!
• the legs were made like 7-strand friendship bracelets with embroidery floss, the heads and tails were made from polymer clay, and the bodies were airdry clay.

> ADVENTURES IN CLAY

• a collection of gifts for friends, made for the 2024 holidays!
• from left to right: webfishing heads, a whole bunch of ladybugs, the gaping maw of a purple worm and the nightwing catfish from dredge
• made with a combination of airdry and polymer clay, and all but the purple worm were made to be fridge magnets

• not sure when I started but I've pressing flowers for years, and almost always am pressing something!
